How this is calculated

• The index starts at 100% on the first day of the selected window.
• Each period (day / week / month) we pull the latest Bazaar price for every item and compare it to the previous period.
• Each item's % change is weighted by its market activity (buy + sell moving week) so quiet items don't dominate.
• The index is computed against day one of the window using each item's price ratio — switching daily / weekly / monthly only changes how often we sample, not the underlying levels, so the numbers stay roughly in line.
• Click and drag on the chart to pick any window — the "What Moved It Most" panel re-ranks items by their contribution to that selection.
